I am soooooo excited that my son Todd, and his sweet and wonderful wife Britt, will be blessing Brett and I with a GRANDDAUGHTER around the beginning of September. As anyone familiar with the Walker clan knows, we bring forth boys. Brett and I have three, Brett's brother and his wife have five; and as for girls, Brett's sister Lori and hubby Tim have four girls. So you can imagine the excitement that is in the air, knowing that we will have a little girl to spoil in our immediate family.
We love and adore our grandson Eli. I love having a grandson. I love associating with boys. I love their rough and tumble, in your face behavior, and the interesting way they look at life. I desperately miss Eli, as he is living on the other side of the country with Mike and Laura. Thank goodness for Facebook, blog pages, text messaging, and little film clips that my son and his wonderful wife send me often to keep up with Eli and his cuteness.
What is going to be in the future for Aila (my granddaughter)? One thing for sure--Brett and I are going to have fun getting familiar with having a little girl in our life!!
